Michelle Obasi graduated from Rutgers University-Camden with a degree in biology. Her future plans are to obtain a PhD in Physical Therapy. On campus, she played on the Rutgers women’s basketball team. She was also a member of the African Student Association (ASA) and the American Medical Student Association (AMSA). The ASA focuses on problems, both socially and globally, that affect the continent of Africa. The AMSA is a group of future doctors and health professionals that help make the medical school journey easier for prospective students.
Professionally, Michelle has worked and volunteered with a variety of organizations including Novacare Rehabilitation, Kesseler Rehabilitation, and Rushmore Physical Therapy. She currently works at Therasport Physical Therapy and is also a reading, math, and science tutor and executive administrative assistant at Tailored Tutoring.
