Lori Carriere graduated summa cum laude from Stony Brook University, with a BA in English. She went on to earn a Masters in Literature from the University of Connecticut and an MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers University Camden. She teaches writing at Penn State Abington, Temple University, and the Community College and volunteers with Mighty Writers, an organization that supports kids’ writing. She enjoys tutoring reading and writing at all grade levels and SAT reading and writing prep.
