Dolly Guzman

Dolly Guzman is a bilingual Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant who is eager and dedicated to assessing and identifying learning disabilities in general education and special education students who have been referred for an educational evaluation in Spanish and English. She also provides professional development opportunities for fellow educators and necessary stakeholders utilizing various evidenced-based strategies and interventions in several academic domains. She is also an experienced case manager who advocates for students to learn in a nurturing environment that is conducive to meet their individualized academic, social/emotional and behavioral needs.

 

Ms. Guzman received her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Elementary Education and Speech/Theater/Dance from Rowan University and a Master of Arts in Curriculum & Instruction from Marygrove College.

 

Ms. Guzman has been an educator for over 20 years with experience in teaching grades pre-K through 8. She is now the CEO of Dolly Guzman Educational Services where she services students and their families in the tristate area. She also works as a counselor with at-risk youth. Ms. Guzman serves on the Executive Board for I Dare2Care Mentoring Association (ID2C).
