Michelle Obasi is a senior at Rutgers University-Camden. As an undergraduate, she is pursuing a degree in biology, and her future plans are to obtain a PH.D. in Physical Therapy. On campus, she plays on the Rutgers women’s basketball team. She is also a member of the African Student Association (ASA) and the American Medical Student Association (AMSA). The ASA focuses on problems, both socially and globally, that affect the continent of Africa. The AMSA is a group of future doctors and health professionals that help make the medical school journey easier for prospective students. In high school, Michelle was a member of the National Honor Society and interned at Camden City Hall, the Adventure Aquarium, and Cooper Hospital.
