Jade Jones graduated from Princeton University in June 2014 with an undergraduate degree in English and certificates in African-American Studies and Creative Writing. In her undergraduate career, she has studied abroad at the Goethe Institute in Munich, Germany and Cambridge University in Cambridge, England. She also worked as a research fellow at the Schomburg Center for Black Research the summer of her junior year. Her main activities on Princeton’s campus included leadership positions in the Black Student Union, Community Action, Black Arts Company: Drama, and the Princeton Animal Welfare Society. She has tutored all grade levels in a variety of subjects in Trenton, NJ since her freshman year. She has also tutored for the SAT and PSAT since high school. She is a National Achievement Scholar and the valedictorian for Bishop Eustace Preparatory School’s Class of 2010. May 2017, she earned a Masters in Fine Arts degree from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop at the University of Iowa where she was an adjunct professor. She has taught English Composition, Creative Writing, and Creative and Professional Business Communications. She is also Tailored Tutoring’s senior editor, copywriter, and program director.
