Dr. Cortney Bolden is an outstanding science teacher, engineer, and researcher who provides a plethora of experience in curriculum based state-of-the-art science, technology, engineering, and mathematics related programs. She is known for her ability to effectively convey extremely complicated mathematical problems and scientific concepts in the most simplistic manner to students. Dr. Bolden holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern University and A&M College of Louisiana, and both a Master and Doctorate of Science in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina A&T State University with concentrations in control theory and robotics. She is very passionate about working with underserved communities and committed to doing whatever it takes to help students realize their full potential in understanding and applying math and science. Dr. Bolden is convinced that anyone can learn math and science if they can only see how it is applied. She is committed to providing real-world examples and technology centered project-based activities to help students experience the reality of math and science in everyday life.
